- Dead, seems to be saving up all their energy on building their product before community

Confusing
@isaac · 7/29/2026They're trying to be everything and nothing at the same time.
They're trying to be a technically advanced platform when they're just a glorified Godot wrapper.
Big disdain for other sandboxes instead of having mutual respect.
They want to go ahead and become a public company as fast as possible.
Their management is not the best, they take pay raises without even actually launching.
Their staff is quite distant from users publicly (from what I've been told).

Soulless.
@devjuice · 9/3/2026This one word is enough to describe TruWorld's desire to look and feel like modern Roblox (from monotone theme down to DevEx type of program and create subdomain page), which I personally despise. If you're trying to run away from Roblox's corporate nature and looking for something more welcoming & alive, this is not the place to go.
Pros
- Money well spent on 3D art & graphics on the website, looks professional
- The game client looks.. fine?
- TruScript is an interesting blend of Luau and Python
Cons
- Corporation-owned project
- Closed source
- The trailer & art doesn't describe the real experience you're going to get out of this, therefore clickbait
- The CEO is questionable in many ways outside of the project
- The avatar is obvious 'Bopimo!' ripoff
- Limiting user generated content to clothing
