About a month ago, Gloxscape got social engineered, means that our source code and database were in the hands of someone (friend of ex-staff) and could be leaked anytime, Which is what happened.
Thankfully, it includes no sensitive informations like emails, passwords, ip adresses.
They are encrypted and not unencryptable without a key (which the person does not have).

Holy drama.
Ned Stark · 8/25/2026I think this is what Nuglox became? Nuglox was a barebones but functional, but this is just drama hell. There is always something going on like a data breach, a code rewrite, or the owner throwing a whiny tantrum and quitting. I wish it the best but doubt that anything will really come out of this.

The last time a drama happened was 2 months ago, We have realized our mistake and stopped getting ourselves involved into drama.

Database Leaked
@isaac · 8/25/2026Their database got leaked, they cancelled development (then restarted development) multiple times. Odd sandbox really.

Development is coming to a close soon for a full release, and as I stated before (might state on our updates wall) no sensitive data like emails, passwords, ips were leaked since all of those were encrypted, thank you.

I wouldn't trust this site.

Yes but no sensitive data was leaked. No emails, ips, passwords were leaked, All your user info is safe because they were encrypted.

i got into the "gloxscape" account the last time it was public that was fun i guess
Holy drama. I'm sorry but this one is so obnoxious because of how much DRAMA is with this platform. Every single day something happens like a data breach or the owner deciding to throw a tantrum and quit. Don't even know why I'm still in the server, it is all just drama.
Has had a previous data breach, owner has previously "gave up" many times by shutting down the platform and bringing it back. Maybe not the best long-term platform.
